Ronni Mainguy

CYT 500, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga,
Trauma Informed Yoga, Reiki II,

Yoga Nidra & Vibrational Sound Healing Practitioner

I began my journey into yoga by attending a beginner workshop in January of 2018. I slowly realized I began to feel more like myself and my body was recovering from an injury I had been dealing with for years.  I soon fell in love with the gentle movements and peace I would find after class. It was not much later when I decided to further my education and take my first Yoga Teachers course.

Outside of Yoga,  I am an artist working in the medium of clay making functional and decorative pieces. When time allows I enjoy exploring the outdoors, camping and boating with my family.

My practice continues to have a positive effect on every aspect of my life, mentally, physically and spiritually. As you begin or continue your yoga journey take with you this understanding. Yoga, just like music, is for everyone. The goal is not to be able to fold so far that we can kiss our toes or tie ourselves into a pretzel, but rather to take the body to its own edge and quiet the mind. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is honor our body and accept that it has limitations.

During our offerings, I hope that you will find time to take space for yourself and see what comes to light in your own journey.

Dan Mainguy

Sound & Yoga Nidra Practitioner

My journey into the practice of Yoga began in 2018.  I was nearing the end of my career as a professional firefighter and was seeking to find an activity to bring some repose to me in retirement.  It was during this beginners workshop that I discovered a truly life changing experience to not only enhance my physical well-being but to shift my focus to positive energy.  After many years of helping other’s when they were experiencing tragedy, I found a way to help myself learn to share energy with others in a safe and relaxing setting.

Investigation into the effects of sound on the human body led me to complete my practitioner certifications in Sound Healing, Sound Meditation and Yoga Nidra.  It has become my goal to share these relaxing and often transformational experiences with all who seek an escape from the hectic pace of everyday life and enjoy some time with their mind and body free to just “be”.

Poco Mainguy

Supervisor

I am 78 human years old even though I still look like a puppy.  I enjoy being in the yoga and sound studio at our house with my mom & dad while they are practicing. My bed is my mat and it keeps me warm and comfortable as I drift into my doggy Nidra.   They say that dogs know how to love and can sense when we are loved in return. I hope that the offerings you attend surround you with positive energy and make you feel loved and appreciated.
